A Safe Recovery Environment

To promote long-term recovery, you need an environment that can provide sanctuary from temptation and keep you on the right path. The right setting, including the support of others who know what you’ve been through and will be going through from firsthand experience can go a long way in helping you to stay on track. Join a safe environment where you can move forward with your life in confidence.

Escape to a Coastal Haven

If you’ve tried sober living in a city setting or a busy urban residence with poor results, you should consider Magnolia Recovery. We provide a secluded rural environment removed from the pressures and temptations of life within today's communities. We see residents begin to “wake up” to a better way of living. Some of our residents have never lived in a tranquil setting, and the peace and structure of a rural environment can be amazing for the recovery process.

Recover In A Family Style Setting

Our recovery home is not a treatment center or halfway house. It is a shared residence for women who wish to live a sober life, free of temptation. The kitchen, living rooms, dining areas and yards are all shared as they would be for any roommate situation in a rental home. Like many landlords who don’t allow smoking, we as your landlord simply find it important that there not be any drugs or alcohol consumption in our homes.

We are NOT a Transitional Home or Halfway House

Magnolia Recovery is not a Transitional Home or Halfway House. Local municipalities define Transitional Housing as a facility that provides supervision and/or detention for residents who are making the transition from institutional to community living. This classification includes pre-parole detention facilities and halfway houses for juvenile delinquents and adult offenders. This classification also includes overnight shelters for the homeless and emergency shelters during crisis intervention for victims of crime, abuse, or neglect. This is not what Magnolia Recovery provides.
